Alloy steel pipe welding process considerations

(1) Welding wire with HSCuNi material wire, and must be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, to prevent moisture.
(2) Protect the gas with pure argon.
(3) Adopt tungsten argon arc welding. The tungsten electrode is cerium tungsten electrode.
(4) Adopt DC tungsten tig welding machine. The electrode diameter depends on the welding current. The diameter of the welding rod depends on the welding current.
(5) Welders must be trained and qualified for B10 pipe welding.
(6) Welding bevel processing shall be carried out by mechanical processing methods.
(7) Welding bevel type: for pipe wall thickness of not more than 2mm butt welding, can not open the bevel but should be left () ~ 1.5mm, alloy pipe for pipe wall thickness of more than 2mm butt welding shall be open bevel. Bevel El type and size should be in line with the requirements of the process evaluation.
(8) Before welding should be welded on both sides of the 20mm range of stainless steel wire brush or scraper cleaning, until the metal luster is exposed.

(12) Gas protection of the weld: reliable gas protection shall be provided for the lower and reverse sides of the weld. Front protection should be used for copper alloy welding torch welding protection or additional trailing protection. Reverse protection can be based on the shape and size of the weldment, the use of back protection gas mask or weldment cavity filled with argon protection methods.
