Steel pipe according to the pipe material (i.e., steel) can be divided into: carbon pipe and alloy steel pipe, stainless steel pipe.
Carbon pipe can be divided into ordinary carbon steel pipe and carbon structural pipe.
Alloy tube can be divided into: low alloy tube, alloy structural tube, high alloy tube, high strength tube. Bearing tube, heat-resistant and acid-resistant stainless tube, alloy (such as deforestation alloy) tube and high-temperature alloy tube.
Hot rolled seamless pipe is generally produced on the active pipe rolling unit. Solid billets are inspected and cleaned of exterior shortcomings, cut to the required length, centered on the perforated end face of the billet, and then sent to the heating furnace for heating, and perforated on the perforating machine. In the perforation with continuous rotation and marching, under the effect of the roll and the top head, the internal cavity of the billet is gradually formed, known as the rough pipe. And then sent to the active rolling mill for continuous rolling. The wall thickness is evened out by the equalizing machine, and the pipe is calibrated by the sizing machine to meet the specifications. The use of continuous tube rolling unit to produce hot rolled seamless steel pipe is a more advanced approach.
